iCEER 2007

Our Purpose 

In collaboration with the International Network for Engineering Education and Research (iNEER), Victoria University is proud to present the International Conference on Engineering Education and Research iCEER 2007. This will be the first time ever that an iNEER Network will assemble here in Australia whilst providing the unique opportunity to invite the international community to Victoria University, Melbourne.

As host for iCEER 2007, Victoria University; as an official iNEER Conference, presents this years theme, Innovations in Information and Communication Technologies. The Conference will be held at Rydges Melbourne on December 2-7, 2007. Major topics will include e-learning, problem and project based learning, government policies, partnership and collaboration, curriculum development and delivery, assessments, industry and community engagement accreditation, globalization integrated and flexible learning and innovations in ICT education.

The business of the Conference occurs over three full days which will act as an information dissemination and exchange quorum. The Conference emphasizes the circulation of information on state-of-the-art advances in education and research; especially new approaches that link the two activities in addressing the education goals of young engineers of the 21st century. The Conference also includes optional site visits in and around Melbourne for interested delegates. Each day includes a number of parallel paper sessions, and where possible, will include a session presented by a keynote speaker, or a discussion forum.
